Jaxtr Free VoIP Service
The main difference between Jaxtr and other Voip services is the reciever has to pay the cost. Because of testing period, Jaxtr offers each new registered user has 100 free minutes to recieve incoming calls per month.
You can’t make a free call directly, but if your friends have had Jaxtr accounts you can make free calls to them. One of the most complicated things is that you can’t directly use this free call yet. During registering, you have to input the recieving phone number and Jaxtr will create the your own Jaxtr’s link. Therefore if your friend clicks the link of your Jaxtr he/she will be asked to input the phone number from which the call will be made and Jaxtr will assign a local number. For example your friend inputs an chinese phone number,Jaxtr will assign a Chinese local phone number(Jaxtr is testing the Chinese access number). When your friend use the phone, which has been registered at Jaxtr, to call this special local number, you will recieve this call via forewarding. Because Jaxtr has saved all information at the first connection between you and your friend, from now on your friend just need to call you using the same access phone number from his/her phone. It’s quite cheap, actually the reciever needs to pay the cost of local phone.
To my mind, Jaxtr is the free Voip service because I use other Voip services that can make a free call to European countries or US but are not free for China. Therefore, I only need to dial the local phone number(European phone number) that is created by Jaxtr, but the call actually has been forwarded to Chinese phone. This process is the same as the forwarding number of Jajah.
Jaxtr gives you additional talk time for each user you invite and he/she signs up. Earn 10 free minutes for each new jaxtr user you sign up.
Except first time using call back via Jaxtr, you need to dial the virtual number. The system access you to the real destination number.
For example, you live in America, your number is 1-234-567-8900. Your friend is in China and phone number is 86-21-87654321. After your friend has registed his number, there is a connection such as www.jaxtr.com/FriendInChina.
When you first time click this link, you need to input your phone number1-234-567-8900, Jaxtr call back to this number and connect to your friend number.
But Jaxtr generates a local virtual number1-234-876-5432. From now on you have to dial this virtual number via your home phone, your friend also can receive the call. You need to pay the local calling rate but free for the international call.
Many network phone work by this way, such as Call In mode of Talkster company, EQO, GlobeDialer and Nimbuzz(I just success to dial from a phone to a computer). Furthermore Jangl seems that it clones from Jaxtr. But all of these companies do not provide the virtual access number of China.
